Dedicated to breeding Criollo horses for function and arena performance, Monte Pampero built its name on rigorous selection and the technical evolution of the breed. Recently settled in Barra do Ribeiro, it embodies the idea that growing is also choosing a new destiny. Here genetics is a decision, not chance: every animal is born from a plan designed to prove its worth where it matters, in the field and in the arena.
We sit in a microclimate that favours horse breeding, with a rich variety of native grasses and newly introduced perennial pastures. We care for the land our horses live on to add value to every animal born here.
We learned to read a horse before we learned to write. We grew up hearing stories of animals that defined an era, of breeders who became references, of arenas that entered the breed's memory. Everything we are today began there. In respect for those who came before. In the school of the countryside. In the patience of knowing that a good Criollo is never made in a hurry.
